Presbyterian School (PS) is located in University Place, just across the street from the Museum of Fine Arts Houston. The school opened in 1989 and is affiliated with First Presbyterian Church. PS is a private, religious, coeducational primary school (grades PreK-8th). The school’s mission is, “Family, school, and church united in the education and support of each child”. To encourage servant leadership, Lower and Middle School students each have a designated Service Project. PS has a 14-acre outdoor education campus, just south of the Texas Medical Center, in addition to the main campus. Presbyterian School is currently undergoing an effort to expand with the addition of a new Early Childhood and Lower School building as well as renovations of the current Middle School.
