Our Lady of Guadalupe is a primary school (preK through 8th grade) located in the Second Ward, just east of Downtown Houston. The school was founded in 1912 and is a private, parochial, coeducational school, affiliated with the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston and Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. The school is the oldest Catholic elementary program in Houston. Our Lady of Guadalupe students follow a program of studies rooted in Catholic traditions and values and academic excellence to promote intellectual curiosity, creative thinking, and challenging problem-solving.
