Northside High School, formerly Davis High School, is located in Northside Village. The public, Houston ISD comprehensive high school was built in 1928, and the campus is currently being expanded and the historic building is being modernized. Northside is a zoned school for area residents as well as a media magnet for Culinary Arts and Hotel Management. Students not living in the neighborhood, but who are interested in pursuing careers in hotel management, culinary arts, digital media, or audio/visual programs can apply to attend the school. Northside is also a partner of the local education nonprofit, Project GRAD (Graduation Really Achieves Dreams).
