Longfellow is an elementary school located in the Braeswood neighborhood. It is a public zoned and magnet school affiliated with Houston ISD. Longfellow serves as a fine arts magnet offering enrichment in art, general music, choir, band, orchestra and dance. The school also offers after-school theater and keyboard classes. Longfellow originally opened in 1955, was rebuilt in 2007, and is named after American poet and educator Henry Wadsworth Longfellow (1807-1882).
