I am currently a senior at IWA, I could not have been happier with my choice in a high school. IWA has some of the best, and most supportive teachers I’ve ever had. They are dedicated to the students bettering themselves and are always willing to help out in any way they can. The students are welcoming and genuinely nice. Even the students who aren’t in your immediate friend group are still willing to hang out and talk with you in the morning, at lunch etc. The environment is amazing, the way it’s structured allows the students to explore their interests and encourages them to find leadership positions. This is a great school with lots of diversity in people, talents, interests and organizations.

My daughter is currently at Senior at Incarnate Word Academy and the school has been a fabulous fit for her. I was initially hesitant about a small single gender school, but the positive school culture, strong academics and commitment to empower young women to lead and serve won me over. I have watched her learn to think critically with teachers that have challenged her and encouraged her every step of the way. The Young Leaders Program curriculum has given her the tools to work with others and confidence to take on significant leadership roles in her extra curricular activities.
