Hamilton Middle School is a middle school (grades 6th through 8th) located in the Greater Heights. It is a Houston ISD, public, zoned school and a Vanguard magnet school for students identified as gifted and talented. The school was founded in 1919 and originally served as the high school for the Heights. Hamilton students have the opportunity to earn high school credit on a number of subjects including algebra and biology. The school is part of the Arts Access Initiative.
