The Gregory Lincoln Education Center is located in Houston’s Fourth Ward. It is a public elementary and middle school serving pre-K through 8th grade students. The school was opened in 1966 and rebuilt in 2007. Gregory Lincoln serves as a zoned school for neighborhood residents and a fine arts magnet program for students in Houston ISD. Courses are offered in culinary arts, dance, band (beginning and advanced, concert, drumline), choir, and theatre. The campus also serves as a temporary site for Wharton Dual Language Academy while its campus is being renovated.
