Archway Academy is a high school located in University Place, on the campus of Palmer Memorial Episcopal Church. The private, non-sectarian school was founded in 2003 to serve teens in recovery from drug or alcohol abuse or dependence. Archway partners with Southwest Schools, a charter organization that provides the teachers and a flexible curriculum that enables students to catch up on coursework they may have missed prior to admission. Archway is an official Recovery High School that integrates the 12-step model into daily education.
